I wish I could give 10 stars. From the moment I called to the moment the work truck pulled away I felt like Hot2Cold had my back. I arrived to help my ailing father and he had no AC.  These guys were on it immediately.  What a game changer in this 90+F and 90% humidity.  Micheal was a complete saint working ALL day on a Saturday in the extreme heat and humidity from 8 am to 4pm to do an install.  I thought with is dedication that he owned the company. Hot2Cold is lucky to have such a dedicated  employee and we are so blessed to have gotten him as a senior tech.  Give that guy a raise! I write this review as a contractor and a homeowner. Contractors are often skeptical of service technicians coming to their home. We can be demanding, critical, and cheap. We typically "think" we know more than the technician and supervise them closely to be sure they do everything right, and that we get what we are paying for.

I am not different. When Rodney and Lee arrived at my house, I integrated them to determine their knowledge and how they would manage themselves. (Borderline harassment.) It is without reservation that I highly recommended Hot 2 Cold as a Mechanical Contractor. Their technicians are well-versed, courteous, professional, and skilled. Rodney and Lee took their time servicing my two AC Units and I was pleasantly surprised they did not just open, spray, test, and leave. They opened both the interior air handler unit and outside compartments for inspections. They thoroughly disinfected the inside AHU coils, flushed the drain lines, and tested. They thoroughly cleaned the coils, tested, replaced a capacitor, and charged the system. The time that Hot 2 Cold took to service one of my systems is twice the time that other Contractors take to service both my systems. They were not slow or joking around. Quite the contrary – they gave me my money’s worth, and the entire time I was harassing them (partly because I was bored, but mostly testing them to see how well they were trained) they worked as they spoke to me in a kind, compassionate, and in a deescalating manner.  I was proud of them.

I enjoyed harassing Rodney and Lee. I wish all my service technicians worked as hard and represented my company, as well as these two young technicians represented Hot 2 Cold. There is hope for our future!

I woke up this morning stepping into a small puddle of water in my hallway directly in front of my air handler.  I immediately looked up at my ceiling and saw no signs of leaks.  After mopping up the puddle, I checked every where I knew to check and did not find the source of the leak.  After a little while, I decided it had to be the a/c that was leaking because a small amount of water appeared in front of the air handler where I'd just mopped earlier.  I googled AC repair companies and decided to go with Hot 2 Cold because of their stellar customer service ratings.  I spoke to a very nice young lady, I think her name is Jeanette.  I explained to her my problem and she arranged service between 4:00 and 6:00 pm today.  I was happy to get same day service and asked if they could come sooner if possible.  She said she'd text me if someone became available sooner (and she did).  I was outside trying to drain the water from the line with my shop vac (with absolutely no success, nothing was coming out) when Wayne Giese drove up.   I was happily surprised that he was an hour early, as I hadn't read my text message yet from Hot 2 Cold that Wayne was on his way.  Wayne quickly diagnosed the problem and began working to clear out the drain line.  He explained what he had to do to clear the line and was very transparent and upfront about the cost. The line was pretty backed up and it took more than the usual chemicals and effort to clear it.  But what I liked most about Wayne is that he treated my AC unit like it was his own.  He would often reference what he does for his own unit and that of his other customers.  He didn't like the way the kill switch was positioned on the handler and he changed it out for me Free of Charge!  Now, anyone willing to do that will definitely have my repeat  business! He not only replaced the part free of charge, he had to go and get it from the shop!  He also stayed several extra minutes to make sure the unit restarted after replacing the kill switch.  I am so happy and thankful for Wayne coming to my rescue.  He was truly a Godsend!  Thank you Hot 2 Cold!

Make no mistake finding a reputable contractor who has quality work and fair pricing Is extremely hard to find in this climate. When both my AC units went down I was in the verge of a panic attack because I have been burned my many contractors before. I frantically searched all over Yelp to help me not have to go to the ER and came across Hot 2 Cold. After I inquired through Yelp James contacted me and walked me through the process. James was very detail oriented and explained all the steps we were going to have to take. He answered all of my questions and eased my worrisome soul. We went over various options and I felt comfortable choosing them for the job. We were able to schedule the job very quickly. At 8am I had the team of David Dacal, Anthony Comer, Corey Burdetto, Savier Paulinho, and Gavin Carter. All this men were very professional and polite. They did an excellent job cleaning everything up and they were all very respectful of my house. I have a very tight AC unit upstairs that was giving us trouble. However no one complained and they were all determined to get the job done. I love my new AC unit and it works much better than before. This team turned a very stressful experience into a breeze! Only problem is I went to do the internal service survey and the link I had was expired. I hope this team can get credit for the amazing job they did! I will recommend this company to all of my friends family, and fellow Yelpies!

2019 Repair: my A/C stopped running. At that time, James came out and assessed the situation. He was very PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGABLE,  and gave us all the options including quick fix or entire replacement of the HVAC. NO PRESSURE from him one way or the other. We chose the quick fix and he said likely it would only last us 1 more year. Fast-forward 2 years and it's still running. 

2021 Reaching out: Figured it was a good time to replace the whole unit and so we went for it. Called H2C and they had our profile saved and pictures of our inside/outside unit in their file from the prior repair so they were able to give us a quote over the phone. James again reached out in a timely fashion and answered all my HVAC questions with awesome detail regarding brands, SEER ratings, etc. 

2021 Day of installation: Joel, Anthony, and Corey were the technicians. PUNCTUAL, PROFESSIONAL, PERSONABLE, and DETAILED. They wore masks while inside my house, answered all my annoying questions during the installation, made sure I understood everything they did, and cleaned up the mess including sweeping and vacuuming. On top of that, they even fixed a problem I didn't know I had with my air vent at no extra charge. 

Will only use them here in Tampa. Amazing and honest experience from start to finish.

Great Experience! Wayne was quick to come out to assess our air conditioner issues. He got the a/c back up and working, even coming back out after it continued to not work effectively. We knew we needed a new unit since the current one was old, so we decided to go with Hot 2 Cold due to their consistent efforts to repair the old unit. Wayne came out with the technicians to ensure the job was started right and being executed properly. We now have had the unit for a week and we're sitting in the cool, not worried about the a/c breaking on us! The unit is top notch and runs nicely! The price was good, installation professional (and looks good- very neat) with great follow-up by Wayne to ensure it was installed and finished wonderfully. I will definitely be referring others to them & to ensure this unit lasts longer than the other ... I will only use this company for yearly a/c check ups!!

 Verified David Martinez came to check on the aircon unit because it wasn't cooling down to the preset temp. He had identified a number of possible issues - clogging of drain line, leaking and insufficient refrigerant. The estimates of all these will amount to a big sum. 
After some explanations on the issues, I've decided to spread out the fixings so as to spread out the spending.

We can be demanding, critical, and cheap. We typically "think" we know more than the technician and supervise them closely to be sure they do everything right, and that we get what we are paying for.I am not different. When ****** and *** arrived at my house, I integrated them to determine their knowledge and how they would manage themselves. (Borderline harassment.) It is without reservation that I highly recommended Hot 2 Cold as a Mechanical Contractor. Their technicians are well-versed, courteous, professional, and skilled. ****** and *** took their time servicing my two AC Units and I was pleasantly surprised they did not just open, spray, test, and leave. They opened both the interior air handler unit and outside compartments for inspections. They thoroughly disinfected the inside AHU coils, flushed the drain lines, and tested. They thoroughly cleaned the coils, tested, replaced a capacitor, and charged the system. The time that Hot 2 Cold took to service one of my systems is twice the time that other Contractors take to service both my systems. They were not slow or joking around. Quite the contrary they gave me my moneys worth, and the entire time I was harassing them (partly because I was bored, but mostly testing them to see how well they were trained) they worked as they spoke to me in a kind, compassionate, and in a deescalating manner. I was proud of them.I enjoyed harassing ****** and ***. I wish all my service technicians worked as hard and represented my company, as well as these two young technicians represented Hot 2 Cold. It has been nothing but trouble a week after installation. I was told about Hot 2 Cold air and the owner Wayne along with techs James and Warren have been exceedingly helpful. At least 4 occasions they've repaired leaks in my unit. I'm tired of the old unit in constant need of repair. Freon was replaced this visit. Tired of being nickel and dimed to death i asked, under no pressure from Warren, showed me a/c units from the low to high end. I decided to get a unit that fit both my square footage and price range. James came out at 8 pm the night we called and evaluated our problem. He put together options for us and was honest about what direction he thought we should take. James had a team out that Saturday who replaced our outdoor and indoor units. They were courteous, clean, and polite, and got the job done quickly with no damage whatsoever. They even came out at 10 pm a few nights later to replace a factory-faulty thermostat. I write this review as a contractor and a homeowner. Contractors are often skeptical of service technicians coming to their home. We can be demanding, critical, and cheap. We typically "think" we know more than the technician and supervise them closely to be sure they do everything right, and that we get what we are paying for.

I am not different. When Rodney and Lee arrived at my house, I integrated them to determine their knowledge and how they would manage themselves. (Borderline harassment.) It is without reservation that I highly recommended Hot 2 Cold as a Mechanical Contractor. Their technicians are well-versed, courteous, professional, and skilled. Rodney and Lee took their time servicing my two AC Units and I was pleasantly surprised they did not just open, spray, test, and leave. They opened both the interior air handler unit and outside compartments for inspections. They thoroughly disinfected the inside AHU coils, flushed the drain lines, and tested. They thoroughly cleaned the coils, tested, replaced a capacitor, and charged the system. The time that Hot 2 Cold took to service one of my systems is twice the time that other Contractors take to service both my systems. They were not slow or joking around. Quite the contrary – they gave me my money’s worth, and the entire time I was harassing them (partly because I was bored, but mostly testing them to see how well they were trained) they worked as they spoke to me in a kind, compassionate, and in a deescalating manner.  I was proud of them.

I enjoyed harassing Rodney and Lee. I wish all my service technicians worked as hard and represented my company, as well as these two young technicians represented Hot 2 Cold. There is hope for our future!

Great Experience! Wayne was quick to come out to assess our air conditioner issues. He got the a/c back up and working, even coming back out after it continued to not work effectively. We knew we needed a new unit since the current one was old, so we decided to go with Hot 2 Cold due to their consistent efforts to repair the old unit. Wayne came out with the technicians to ensure the job was started right and being executed properly. We now have had the unit for a week and we're sitting in the cool, not worried about the a/c breaking on us! The unit is top notch and runs nicely! The price was good, installation professional (and looks good- very neat) with great follow-up by Wayne to ensure it was installed and finished wonderfully. I will definitely be referring others to them & to ensure this unit lasts longer than the other ... I will only use this company for yearly a/c check ups!!

Rodney diagnosis the issue accurately. At first we thought it was just the thermostat, but with further inspection the motor axel had rusted out.Rodney had it back up and running within a day. So happy because the hot days of summer are coming.

I wish I could give 10 stars. From the moment I called to the moment the work truck pulled away I felt like Hot2Cold had my back. I arrived to help my ailing father and he had no AC.  These guys were on it immediately.  What a game changer in this 90+F and 90% humidity.  Micheal was a complete saint working ALL day on a Saturday in the extreme heat and humidity from 8 am to 4pm to do an install.  I thought with is dedication that he owned the company. Hot2Cold is lucky to have such a dedicated  employee and we are so blessed to have gotten him as a senior tech.  Give that guy a raise! Wayne was amazing. Even though he could not fix my issue (not due to him but the previous company that messed up when installing my new unit) he really took his time to try to figure out my problem. He was able to make something work as I try to contact the other company to fix their wrong doing. Very through and knowledgeable. I really appreciated him taking his time to explain everything. I will definitely use them in the future after I get the other company to fix their mistake.

2019 Repair: my A/C stopped running. At that time, James came out and assessed the situation. He was very PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGABLE,  and gave us all the options including quick fix or entire replacement of the HVAC. NO PRESSURE from him one way or the other. We chose the quick fix and he said likely it would only last us 1 more year. Fast-forward 2 years and it's still running. 

2021 Reaching out: Figured it was a good time to replace the whole unit and so we went for it. Called H2C and they had our profile saved and pictures of our inside/outside unit in their file from the prior repair so they were able to give us a quote over the phone. James again reached out in a timely fashion and answered all my HVAC questions with awesome detail regarding brands, SEER ratings, etc. 

2021 Day of installation: Joel, Anthony, and Corey were the technicians. PUNCTUAL, PROFESSIONAL, PERSONABLE, and DETAILED. They wore masks while inside my house, answered all my annoying questions during the installation, made sure I understood everything they did, and cleaned up the mess including sweeping and vacuuming. On top of that, they even fixed a problem I didn't know I had with my air vent at no extra charge. 

Will only use them here in Tampa. Amazing and honest experience from start to finish.

Make no mistake finding a reputable contractor who has quality work and fair pricing Is extremely hard to find in this climate. When both my AC units went down I was in the verge of a panic attack because I have been burned my many contractors before. I frantically searched all over Yelp to help me not have to go to the ER and came across Hot 2 Cold. After I inquired through Yelp James contacted me and walked me through the process. James was very detail oriented and explained all the steps we were going to have to take. He answered all of my questions and eased my worrisome soul. We went over various options and I felt comfortable choosing them for the job. We were able to schedule the job very quickly. At 8am I had the team of David Dacal, Anthony Comer, Corey Burdetto, Savier Paulinho, and Gavin Carter. All this men were very professional and polite. They did an excellent job cleaning everything up and they were all very respectful of my house. I have a very tight AC unit upstairs that was giving us trouble. However no one complained and they were all determined to get the job done. I love my new AC unit and it works much better than before. This team turned a very stressful experience into a breeze! Only problem is I went to do the internal service survey and the link I had was expired. I hope this team can get credit for the amazing job they did! I will recommend this company to all of my friends family, and fellow Yelpies!

When our AC decided to quit in the middle of summer, Troy from Hot to Cold AC swooped in like a superhero with a toolbox. He came out the very next day and had us chilling in comfort before we could even finish melting. Friendly, fast, and professional, if your AC ever gives you the cold shoulder (or worse, no cold at all), Troy’s the guy you want on speed dial!

I woke up this morning stepping into a small puddle of water in my hallway directly in front of my air handler.  I immediately looked up at my ceiling and saw no signs of leaks.  After mopping up the puddle, I checked every where I knew to check and did not find the source of the leak.  After a little while, I decided it had to be the a/c that was leaking because a small amount of water appeared in front of the air handler where I'd just mopped earlier.  I googled AC repair companies and decided to go with Hot 2 Cold because of their stellar customer service ratings.  I spoke to a very nice young lady, I think her name is Jeanette.  I explained to her my problem and she arranged service between 4:00 and 6:00 pm today.  I was happy to get same day service and asked if they could come sooner if possible.  She said she'd text me if someone became available sooner (and she did).  I was outside trying to drain the water from the line with my shop vac (with absolutely no success, nothing was coming out) when Wayne Giese drove up.   I was happily surprised that he was an hour early, as I hadn't read my text message yet from Hot 2 Cold that Wayne was on his way.  Wayne quickly diagnosed the problem and began working to clear out the drain line.  He explained what he had to do to clear the line and was very transparent and upfront about the cost. The line was pretty backed up and it took more than the usual chemicals and effort to clear it.  But what I liked most about Wayne is that he treated my AC unit like it was his own.  He would often reference what he does for his own unit and that of his other customers.  He didn't like the way the kill switch was positioned on the handler and he changed it out for me Free of Charge!  Now, anyone willing to do that will definitely have my repeat  business! He not only replaced the part free of charge, he had to go and get it from the shop!  He also stayed several extra minutes to make sure the unit restarted after replacing the kill switch.  I am so happy and thankful for Wayne coming to my rescue.  He was truly a Godsend!  Thank you Hot 2 Cold!

Out of the three so far, James is on top my list. Professional, knowledgeable, sounds like he knows what he is doing. He is in-depth about describing what is going to be designed with the system. Still waiting on other information before I choose who will provide the service for me.

**Update 3/17/2023
My A/C installation was completed this week. They took out both of my old AC systems and installed their variable stage system. As of right now everything seems to be working properly.

 Verified AC stopped working in the early morning hours. Called Hot2Cold based on Yelp reviews and I was very impressed with their professionalism and punctuality. I was given a two hour window that was reasonable and met my needs. Soon before the appointment window I was notified that Jason would be the technician dispatched and he arrived within 3 minutes of the scheduled start time! 

Jason was VERY knowledgeable, professional and quickly determined a wiring problem from prior maintenance another company had performed was the cause of the issue. He provided me with additional maintenance options for my consideration but never pressured me to purchase now. I WILL use them again and recommend to family and friends!

 Verified I had a clogged pipe issue, no water is dripping from the exterior pipe and a clog needed to be cleared, no mystery. Two other companies I rang prior to H2C tried to hustle the situation being vague. H2C was straightforward and direct on the phone unlike the other two companies. James arrived and promptly took care of the issue, he was knowledgeable and forthcoming, provided helpful advice to lingering concerns that I was curious about with my unit.  Verified Great customer service from Hot 2 Cold. The technician, Hector Ortiz, showed up right on time and fixed my A/C issue without any problems. He had to solder a pipe that was leaking refrigerant and refill the system. He was courteous, efficient, and left everything very clean when he was finished. I would definitely recommend this company!

 Verified Found Hot 2 Cold on Yelp while searching for AC repair for my broken AC unit. Since I was looking for a relatively quick response/repair and my house was temp was in the 90s I wanted a company that would have a quick turnaround but also maintain quality workmanship and professionalism. I contacted Air Masters because I had used them previously and really had no issues despite their terrible reputation on Yelp. They came out and diagnosed the issue. A power outage had blown through the capacitor and fan motor which caused the overheating that damaged my compressor. The bottom line was I was going to need replacements if I didn't want to keep watering my motor and hoping my compressor lasted a while. The repairs would've cost me over 60% of a new unit so I decided on a new unit completely. 
I contacted Hot 2 Cold for a second opinion and Wayne was literally going to leave the gym before work to go directly to my house and look at the AC and get me an estimate, luckily his technician Jason was available to do it instead. Meanwhile I was directed to leave my information with Bobbi Jo, their receptionist, who was super nice and answered every question I had for her and also took care of all the permits necessary for the following inspection by the county.

I decided not to choose Air Masters because they have a terrible rep on Yelp even though I've never had an issue, however I can't trust a company that didn't pull permits on their new installs and I wasn't going to risk that on an expensive fix like this.

Not even an hour later Wayne had his crew at my house with new system in its entirety, air handler and all ready to work. Jason and Kyle busted their asses the entire day installing the system; they were very knowledgeable and friendly. They showed me the unit, the install, everything they had to do before and after, making sure it was operational fully before leaving. They only took one 15 minute break to get some food from the corner store (which I would've bought them lunch had I not been preoccupied with work stuff) and then they were back in the sweltering heat finishing up. Bang up job by the entire crew, they even registered my unit for me giving me the 10 year warranty/1 yr labor.
Incredibly happy with the work, attitude, and ethic of Hot 2 Cold and would recommend them to anyone in need.

 Verified I can't say enough about the owner and technician Wayne. He has been servicing our ac units for 5 years on 2 homes. He has always come as quickly as possible and worked efficiently and treated my family with curtesy and respect. He always tries to save us money if possible and is very honest.  Verified Hot 2 Cold saved me $600 and probably a lot more. A week ago AAA Airconditioning Service from Tampa, highly recommended by 'Angie's List' had done a '23-point-inspection'.  They suggested a R-22 leak detection because "You have a leaking system" AAA mechanic Rudolph told us. "Sorry about your leak" he said when he handed me his report and took of. After he left my husband noticed that Rudolph had forgotten to put the cap on the Schrader valve of our compressor.
Since we had our doubts about the whole AAA inspection we looked for a reliable Air conditioning Company and called 'Hot 2 Cold'.
They were nice and courteous and  sent out 'John' the same day,  who checked everything and told us our system was working great.  Nothing wrong!  Pressure is okay. No leaks.........."Have a nice day" he said when he left.  
Boy, they are honest - maybe one of the few in the Tampa Bay area- and I will definitely call them again!

 Verified We were having a party at our house in the evening and at around 12 noon the air conditioning started to get hot. We looked up on Google and found hot to cold and called them.  Wayne came out within an hour fixed everything and saved us from a disaster at our party. He was amazing and we even had to use him again for another air conditioning problem.  Verified ..."Hot-2-Cold" should receive the "Best in Tampa" award as I have called them twice over the past 28 months: 
In Nov 2018, my 98 YO mother had a kitchen fire incident that carried smoke throughout the 2BR condo, causing the AC to stop cooling and the temp rose to 90'. Mom had the Air filter changed and I called Hot-2-Cold;  James arrived the same day and found no damage to the AC or the ducting system. There was no charge for the solution James added to clean the condensing unit run-off line.
...Fast forward to to Feb 2021; Three months after we purchased a nearby 2BR home, our AC failed on a warm, 84' day. Called Hot-2-Cold again and Michael arrived 4 hours after my call. He found the "coolant" was leaking, but suggested we call the company that installed the AC as the warranty was still good from the installing company. NO CHARGE  from Hot-2-Cold, but "Hot-2-Cold" is how you spell HONEST, in capitol letters...

We can be demanding, critical, and cheap. We typically "think" we know more than the technician and supervise them closely to be sure they do everything right, and that we get what we are paying for.I am not different. When ****** and *** arrived at my house, I integrated them to determine their knowledge and how they would manage themselves. (Borderline harassment.) It is without reservation that I highly recommended Hot 2 Cold as a Mechanical Contractor. Their technicians are well-versed, courteous, professional, and skilled. ****** and *** took their time servicing my two AC Units and I was pleasantly surprised they did not just open, spray, test, and leave. They opened both the interior air handler unit and outside compartments for inspections. They thoroughly disinfected the inside AHU coils, flushed the drain lines, and tested. They thoroughly cleaned the coils, tested, replaced a capacitor, and charged the system. The time that Hot 2 Cold took to service one of my systems is twice the time that other Contractors take to service both my systems. They were not slow or joking around. Quite the contrary they gave me my moneys worth, and the entire time I was harassing them (partly because I was bored, but mostly testing them to see how well they were trained) they worked as they spoke to me in a kind, compassionate, and in a deescalating manner. I was proud of them.I enjoyed harassing ****** and ***. I wish all my service technicians worked as hard and represented my company, as well as these two young technicians represented Hot 2 Cold.  Verified My first interaction with this company was rocky. I wrote a review about my distasteful experience and was contacted by Janette within 5 minutes of posting. I have never been helped and had my issues solved with a company so fast in my life. 

Janette was kind and very professional. I found that the issues I had were with the call center they use and not the company itself. Within a few minutes, we had a schedule for the same day (about 4 hours later). She even gave me her personal extension in case I ran into any other problems.

James was our technician, and he was a well-seasoned professional. We even had great conversations and you could tell that he was passionate about his job and actually cared. This call was being used as a second opinion because the first company was trying to sell me a whole new system for $12,000 without giving me a definitive answer about what was wrong. 

James took time to go over my entire system thoroughly, checked every vent, explained everything to me in clear language, and helped find a "band-aid" that could possibly last a couple of years. James answered all of my questions and briefly educated me on the HVAC system. He even followed up a couple of hours after he left to make sure the new fix was holding.

With our financial situation the way it is right now, this was the best-case scenario. I will be using this company for all future A/C repairs and highly recommend them. If you want a company that isn't there to sell you a new system every time or try to squeeze money out of you, this is the company. Thank you for making it right and doing an exceptional job.

Heath and Will quickly diagnosed where the problem had to be (a second fuse panel, previously unknown to me), and within 30 minutes we had cold air again!

 Verified Hot 2 Cold was honest, efficient, and knowledgable.  Prior to finding them, I called a few different  local A/C companies asking about their policy for giving estimates.  The other companies were rude and immediately tried to convince me that I needed to replace my entire A/C system. Hot 2 Cold inspected and fixed my system at a reasonable cost.  My review would be five stars except they needed to reschedule twice.

 Verified Hector (the technician) was very professional, knowledgable, and  courteous. I had a million questions and he had zero issues answering all of them. I couldn't be happier. I loved the fact that he wore a mask and presented himself as a true professional. 

From the moment I called to the end of the repair, I knew that this company prides itself with customer service. The dispatcher was friendly and actually listened to what was going on. The estimated arrival times provided was spot on too. 

During these trying times where emotions and the level of frustration is high, I constantly ran across service reps who are rude and grouchy. This company, however, gave me a new perspective and hope in our service industry. I would recommend this company to anybody.

 Verified Excellent service! I called for service late on a Saturday afternoon when most AC companies don't even answer the phone. They were able to have a technician (Jason) out within a few hours of my call, which was within the time frame they gave me on the phone.    The repair was worse than we thought, but they were able to fix it that night.  I would definitely recommend and use them for future needs.

 Verified Found Hot 2 Cold through my only trusted resource YELP . 

I own a home in FL but live out of state. Received a call from my tenant that the AC wasn't blowing out cold so had to spring into action. I recently lost my old AC company who was out of Lutz so urgently needed someone for a next day service. 

I'm extremely happy that Hot 2 Cold was able to make a current day appointment and scheduled directly with my tenant. I was expecting them to show up the next day so I was pleasantly surprised. I was also impressed that once my unit was diagnosed I was called with several fixes. My service technician gave me his suggestions from the least to the extreme.

Happy to say my tenant says the AC is cold so crisis averted, I expect to use them again in the future.

 Verified I'm writing this review on behalf of my mother. Her 8-year-old HVAC system was giving her issues so she started calling around for repairs. The first four companies she called told her that she needed a new system, but gave conflicting reasons. I looked them all up on Yelp and none were well reviewed. So I gave her a few good options and implored her to get additional estimates. She had Hot 2 Cold come out and they were the only company that told her that her system could be repaired. 

She scheduled the service and said that the service technician was incredibly clean and professional. Within a few hours, they had the system up and running again. In their initial consult, they said that this system, once repaired, could last another 2-5 years. If that holds true, then they really did save her a significant amount of money. She is very grateful and would recommend Hot 2 Cold without reservation.

It has been nothing but trouble a week after installation. I was told about Hot 2 Cold air and the owner Wayne along with techs James and Warren have been exceedingly helpful. At least 4 occasions they've repaired leaks in my unit. I'm tired of the old unit in constant need of repair. Freon was replaced this visit. Tired of being nickel and dimed to death i asked, under no pressure from Warren, showed me a/c units from the low to high end. I decided to get a unit that fit both my square footage and price range.  Verified Amazing service! Save yourself the headache and just call Hot 2 Cold. Wayne is responsive, professional, and honest- everything you want in emergency AC repair. I came home to a house without AC that was quickly approaching 90 degrees. He showed up when he said he would, found the problem quickly, and fixed it. (A problem that the last AC repairman either somehow screwed up or more likely half-fixed in hopes of coming back.) Wayne fixed the problem properly and made sure the whole system was humming smoothly before leaving. A few hours after coming home to what I thought was a disaster and I'm now comfortably cool. And all at a fair price- totally worth it!

 Verified A/C wasn't spitting out cold air. Called Amd John was here within an hour. We did our HW, checked all the breakers, thought we were out of options. Turns out there is a third breaker by the unit outside. Charged us a trip charge and he was on his way. Fair and honest. Can't complain.

What a game changer in this 90+F and 90% humidity.  Micheal was a complete saint working ALL day on a Saturday in the extreme heat and humidity from 8 am to 4pm to do an install.  Verified Our air conditioning went out after we lost power and it came back on. Wayne at Hot 2 Cold had a technician out here within two hours of my call which was 8:30 pm Saturday.  They needed to take the fan and motor to the shop and said they would be back in the morning.  Verified Would absolutely recommend! This is the best service experience I've had in Tampa. We've had several companies come take a look at our system--the emergency outlet from the drain pan was drip, drip, dripping. Everyone told us the fix would be expensive or even mean a complete overhaul. Until Hot 2 Cold! James fixed the problem in less than fifteen minutes for an incredible price. I couldn't be happier.

 Verified We called Hot2Cold after a horrible experience with another company. We moved in to our new house and were told that we had to replace our entire unit. I was 37 weeks pregnant at the time and we didn't do our research and allowed that company to replace our unit. Well, a couple of days after the install, we noticed that unit wasn't cooling to lower than 76 degrees during the day. The owner told us it was due to it being so hot outside and that it was impossible to cool a home to lower than 76 during the summer. I've never heard of such a load of crap in my life. The unit literally ran all day and night and they couldn't figure out or explain why it wouldn't cool our home during the day. About a week later, we came to our senses, demanded they remove the unit and give us a full refund, and we called Hot2Cold to bring us a bring new unit. They offered us a better quality, higher ton unit for $3k less. It was installed that same day and has worked perfect ever since. They called me several times to make sure I was happy with the unit and even came to look at it to make sure it was running as efficiently as possible. We will never use another air conditioning company to help us with any problems we have in the future.
