Dave gave a detailed explanation about why the system is not giving heat. I am not happy that we still have no heat but the issue is the manufacturer of the parts and the supply chain problems.
Great Service

Today James returned to complete a test data sheet.

Today we returned to continue the search for what is causing the air handler to sweat. The airflow to and from the panic room was enlarged. James adjusted the TXV and refrigerant for the new airflow. We will be returning Oct. 3 to evaluate any changes.
Corey B.
- Improve airflow to the Nursery - Relocate the Nursery return - Install attic ventilation

Called and she said she would wait until during regular hours.
James T.
Today we returned to evaluate the sweating air handler. The unit was still condensing moisture. James drained the secondary drain pan and adjusted the airflow lower. The system now has a static pressure of 0.28. Wayne stated we should return to the home and increase the airflow to the nursery and move the nursery return up on the wall/ceiling.
James T.
Today we visited to check on the AC unit. The newly installed system stopped working for a few hours and then began to work again. Patrick cleaned the drain. Upon arrival the system is working as it should. It seems Patrick fixed the drain clog.
Corey B.
Today we returned to continue our diagnosis of the condensation building up on the attic air handler. James discovered the air handler program was set to function as a two-stage unit, however the condenser is a single stage system. Once the air handler program was changed the outside temperature of the cabinet rose from 58° to 76°. It seems likely the incorrect air handler profile has been the culprit, but we will follow up on Friday to be sure.

Upon arrival emergency drain pan full of water. Drain line been installed total different customer shop vacuum inside the garage we follow up in give estimate for new drain line and more options.
James T.
Today we visited to determine why the system was not keeping the home cool and why the inside unit was freezing up. We learned the air handler low voltage was not wired to the Y1 and Y2 terminals. The system was running in cool mode with the fan only working from a G call meaning the blower was running in circulate mode.

Need to send a ductwork Engineer to evaluate the ductwork due to a .4 static pressure total reading. Unit has a true 16 pin variable speed blower motor, and the motor may not be ramping up to full speed causing the unit to slowly freeze over. (Photos taken to document)

Found the evaporator coils frozen over, causing the condenser to short cycle on low pressure. De-iced the unit and checked the 410A levels. Cause of freezing is unknown at this time.

Brennan G Today I visited for the system not keeping up during the hottest parts of the day. The system is a 2014 Carrier Heat-pump 3ton. I discovered that the system was low on refrigerant. I preformed a leak search on the evaporator coil and discovered that is has a refrigerant leak. The evaporator coil will need to be replaced. I advise against making repairs to this system due to age and lack of manufacture warranty. Gave estimate to replace the evaporator coil although my recommendation is to replace the system. Added refrigerant per Kims request , this should hopefully make an improvement on the systems performance.
