James not only knows his 'stuff', but is a thoughtful and diplomatic listener, who knows how to create rapport--and that adds more than most to the overall service experience. Truly sets the "Pros" apart!

Today we visited to provide pricing to replace the air-conditioning system. The current unit is not working because the outside fan motor has failed. The overall condition is poor and we are unable to evaluate the compressor or other major components without a working fan. Instead of spending hundreds of dollars to continue evaluating the unit Craig decided to replace the system.

Checked voltage from board to yellow and common low voltage wires and found voltage coming out of control board was reading 327v. Recommend replacing bad control board. This is the most basic equipment available for purchase today. It uses a single speed compressor and a single speed indoor fan. This unit is the least expensive to initially purchase and install. 4/12/22

Today we visited to determine why the air conditioning system wasn’t keeping the home at the desired temperature. We learned the unit has a refrigerant leak in the outside unit in the accumulator tank. When the accumulator is replaced all of the refrigerant will need replenished at the same time. Since the unit uses R-22 refrigerant, which was phased out in January 2020, it is worth considering a complete system replacement. Since the repairs to the system totaled nearly $2,000 Jennifer decided it would be best to replace the unit.

Today we visited to provide replacement pricing. The current system has lived past as expected useful life and Jed would like to replace it before it fails. This is a vacation home that stays vacant 8 to 9 months a year, so multi stage and inverter systems are not best here.

Inverter technology delivers the most efficient and comfortable home. This machine utilizes a variable speed compressor, variable speed outdoor fan, and variable speed indoor blower to continuously throttle the exact amount of cooling power required. The unit monitors outdoor temperature, indoor temperature, and the desired temperature while using a learning algorithm to deliver peak efficiency and humidity control.

Today we visited to provide pricing to replace the air conditioning system. The current unit is from 1994 and not performing well. We didn’t spend any time determining if repairs could be made because the unit uses R-22 refrigerant, which has been phased out. The four available technologies were put together and Stefan said he will get in touch to let us know the machine he likes most.
