Customer called is throwing a code 41. Upon investigation Troy found that that means the blower motor is not ramping up to 250 RPM so the motor is failing. Told customer that we need to replace the item. Customer agreed we collected have to deposit and will collect the other half upon completion.

Customer asked us to come back out because the paper still leaking after a repair. The shark bite that we previously installed did not work as well as intended. We refitted the pipe with 45° angles and glued it so it should be airtight now.

Customers compressor wasn’t working properly earlier in the day had me out to take a look and by the time I got here the system was running. The only thing wrong with it was a little low on Freon so we put about a pound in system is running power properly now. The customer has a very interesting set up because he has older parts but newer components put in i.e. the compressor was redone in 2019 the coil was replaced in 2019. The compressor bulb on the inside was the only thing replaced so the compressor on the outside looks like it is a 2013 but he’s actually a 2019 part.

Customer called us out because the house was not cooling down to temperature. Upon investigation Troy found that the unit is significantly undersized for the property. The property is 1400 ft.² and the unit in there is only 2 tons which only covers 1000 ft.² at 100% capacity. The unit itself is running fine. The temperature split is 18°. So the apartment will never get to a desired temperature, because the machine is too small to accommodate.
